Approaches from the right grant players better angles to the green the nearer they drive to the right-side fairway bunkers, while more centered approaches offer a direct line to green, greatly mitigating bunker risk. Playing just short of the green is recommended over driving too far left and closing an open approach. Approaches flying to the green favor just right of the pin in most cases.
