Longer players can shorten this hole considerably by bringing the new stream into play or employ a more conservative approach by playing into the expanded left-fairway – however, the latter approach will require a player stay mindful of the mid-fairway bunkers. Advanced players will know that a successful strategy here begins with establishing fairway-center – a more daunting task now than ever, but well worth the effort for improved approach angles. Expansion to and slight relocation of both the green and its nearby lake make approaches more challenging, while greatly elevating the potential for interesting hole locations.
