With all of its revisions, the newly-improved Hole 18 will require even our most experienced players to come prepared. Our general recommendation is to favor the right side of the fairway, as this approach offers an immaculate angle to run shots into the green. Driving down right and aiming for the new funnel can be an excellent option to open a clear line to left-side hole locations, as well. Longer players have the option of carrying the fairway bunkers and shortening their approach, though this is typically only favored for right-side hole locations. Befitting its status as the final hole, 18’s green remains one of the more challenging on the entire course – all players will need to utilize its contours to their benefit and employ strong distance control to raise their likelihood of an ideal putt.
